Do I need Quattro Pro installed?+
No. The converter is a standalone Windows desktop application and does not require the original Quattro Pro software.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. The free trial converts up to 10 files with full features — no signup and no watermarks. A one-time $39.95 Standard license unlocks unlimited conversions.
What is Conversion Library Plus?+
You converted the archive. Plus is how you find it again. Standard converts Quattro Pro spreadsheets locally on your PC. Plus unlocks Conversion Library — local search, sheet previews, tags, bookmarks, knowledge maps, saved searches, and review packs. Same installer; unlock with a Plus key ($29.95 add-on, or $69.90 for Standard + Plus). Nothing is uploaded. Windows desktop only.
What does commercial licensing cost?+
Commercial Standard is $500 one-time per seat for business use. Commercial Plus is $750 one-time per seat — that is commercial Standard ($500) plus Conversion Library Plus.
Is the license a subscription, or do I keep the app?+
It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You keep using the app forever on the version 6.x line. Free updates are included for 12 months from purchase; afterward you continue using the last 6.x build you installed.
Microsoft Store vs offline MSI — which should I use?+
The website primary download is the Authenticode-signed offline MSI (same app and 10-file trial). The Microsoft Store listing is an alternate install channel. Pick Store if you prefer Store-managed installs and updates; pick the MSI for air-gapped, scripted, or IT-controlled installs.
How many computers / seats does a license cover?+
Each license seat covers one Windows computer. Personal licenses are for personal use on one PC. Commercial Standard and Commercial Plus are priced per seat for business use — buy one seat per machine that will run the converter. Contact support for volume or PO options.
Will formulas and formatting always be perfect?+
Legacy spreadsheet conversion depends on the original file and the features it used. For important records, convert a sample and review formulas, dates, ranges, and formatting before running the entire archive.
Which output should I choose?+
Choose XLSX for editable review, CSV for analytics import, PDF for fixed archive snapshots, HTML for browser-readable review, and Markdown for text-first AI workflows.
